THIS is where you draft these guys.
From Remmerde: Drew Czerwonka / LW: Good size, likes to play physical. Threw a lot of huge hits this season. Hands didn't seem to come around this season, needs to go back to planting himself in front of the net.
Stu MacGregor: "A big, tough kid who shows up for every battle. We're trying to get that instilled in our organization. He's a competitive guy who has to improve on his quickes. He's a guy who likes to mix it up and that's what we're looking for."
Vs Alex Petrovic:

Czerwonka is a great hockey name. Hard for a kid with that handle to have a sense of entitlement.
ReplyDeletePetrovic can't win a fight to save his ass, so that's not too impressive.
ReplyDeleteI like that he can skate a little and he had a pretty good playoffs. Probably earned himself some more ice for Kootenay next season because of it.
Young kid, turns 18 next week, lots of time to develop.
ReplyDeleteOne pick left and everyone is 6'2" or bigger except the goalie and and all but Maricin are CHLers.
ReplyDeletelast pick - either Defenseman Svedberg - 6'9" or LW Pakarinen 6'2"
