Sail On, Minot Lumberjack

The day he arrived, I was not a fan of the Dustin Penner offer sheet signing. Over time, I grew to appreciate the things he did and he grew as a player during his time in Edmonton.

I'll have a post up later tonight on the player and picks; best of luck to Penner and this Oiler fan will be cheering for the Kings to bring Stanley to California in 2011.

  1. Well I knew they were long time teammates but apparently Tuebert and Eberle are close friends.

I checked out my WHL haunts and very few have anything good to say about Tuebs.

  2. What about cheering for the Kings to miss the playoffs so that the pick is better? Im kind of torn myself.

  3. I too will be rooting for the Kings.

It'd be a shame if Tambo stumbled onto slightly better draftpicks in his terrible return for Penner, and it's be nice to see Smyth, Stoll, Green and Penner bring it all back home.

    Fire Tambellini!

  4. Good on Penner for battling through what a lot lesser players couldn't in Edmonton. By the end I think he was much appreciated in town.

So now that we have acquired all these assets we are positioned well to make an offer sheet this summer eh? ;)

  5. 27 seemed like he wanted to stay and according to he was a very cool guy when it came to Moss.

And that's something that's mattered to me for as long as I can remember.
