Oilers sign Hordichuk

The Edmonton Oilers signed winger Darcy Hordichuk to a 1-year, $825,000 deal. The Oilers 4line is going to be much better in 11-12, with the addition of both Ben Eager and Hordichuk.

Energy guy, takes too many penalties and won't help you much offensively. He does know his role and has no fear. Hordichuk is a major upgrade (as a hockey player) over Steve MacIntyre.

The Oilers need to get rid of some contracts now.

    Looks like Sutton for Foster is done.

    Not sure what this brings us. We surely need a tough defender like Sutton, but this seems like a decrease in talent level.
